Welcome to Scouting for all in Exeter!

We have put together several page already, just click on the pages at the top of the screen to find out more about Scouting in Exeter.

Scouting is for all young people aged from 4 years old upwards. It provides opportunities for children and young adults to develop skills for life, make friends, and enjoy outdoor activities in a safe and supportive environment. From Squirrels, starting at 4 years old, through Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers, each section offers age-appropriate challenges that encourage personal growth, teamwork, and community involvement. Scouting is inclusive and welcomes young people of all backgrounds and abilities, ensuring everyone can benefit from the experiences it offers.

Exeter District Scouts is always seeking enthusiastic and committed adults to join our team. With more volunteers, we can extend the invaluable opportunities that Scouting provides to even more young people across the district. Whether you can spare a few hours a week or want to take on a leadership role, your involvement helps us deliver adventurous activities, community projects, and personal development experiences that shape confident, capable young individuals. No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to make a difference.

As volunteers, we play a vital role in supporting the Exeter District Scouts, helping to create a safe, enjoyable, and educational environment for young people to develop new skills and confidence. Our commitment ensures that Scouts can take part in a wide range of activities, from outdoor adventures to community projects. Volunteering not only benefits the young members but also fosters connections within the local community and provides personal growth opportunities for those who give their time. Without the dedication of volunteers, the rich experiences and values of Scouting would not be possible.

Join us and help inspire the next generation by becoming a part of Exeter District Scouts. Together, we can provide young people with opportunities to develop skills, build confidence, and embrace adventure. Your support and involvement make a lasting difference in shaping tomorrow’s leaders. Get involved today and be a positive influence in our community.
